matthews happenings: February 2007

SO....WHAT'S ON THE MOVE FOR US NOW?

besides our son...

as of March 1st...Josh is finishing out his 2 week notice with ComAir the company he's been working for since December. During training with ComAir he was offered an interview with SkyWest. As soon as training was over at ComAir he interviewed with SkyWest and GOT THE JOB!!! This is the airlines we wanted all along...SO...Thank you dear Lord!!!!

On March 26th, he will start at SkyWest. He'll have 6 weeks of training in Salt Lake City, Utah. Once training is complete he'll be a First Officer flying a CRJ 100.

DISNEYLAND

SINCE WE SPENT SO MUCH TIME IN CALIFORNIA WE WENT TO DISNEYLAND MANY TIMES. UNCLE SCOTTY HAD SO MUCH FUN TAKING MASON ON RIDES.

Mason got his first set of "EARS"

...and he loves wearing them too? He is so funny he really likes wearing things on his head. Once he figured out that the little black string would snap him if he pulled on it...it was all good. King Arthur's Carousel is his favorite ride...one day we rode it three times in a row.

Mason and his Grandpa Spearman celebrated their birthday's together in California at the end of January. Mason liked the ice cream better than his cake. He doesn't have much of a sweet tooth like his mama.... at this point he has his daddy's salty and sour taste buds, but boy does he like to eat!!!

Mason is one year old!

This was so much fun...
I got my camera ready for the minute that Mason turned one. So the following pics are from that moment.

While Josh was finishing his training with ComAir, the whole month of January we spent in Oregon. We stayed at my Aunt Sue and Uncle Cliff's home. We had so much fun visiting and spending time with our cousins.

BABY'S 1ST CHRISTMAS

2007

...this was so cute, we put lights on the tree while Mason was asleep. He woke up in the morning and got to see them...he wanted to touch them so bad! All season it was so fun showing him all the Christmas lights. We had a wonderful Christmas.

We spent the holiday in California at my aunt Di Di's home.
