to this record on our parent's record player, placing the needle
on the record just so, so we could hear the beat!
...funny thing, 19 years later, I was just playing the beat in my
car the other day as I drove around town!

...this so reminds me of my childhood!

Every summer we would drive to California and stay with family. The closer we would get into LA I would always look for the Coppertone billboard. Once I spotted it, it was as if I knew for sure...I was in California and the fun could now begin!!! They have a replica of the same billboard at California Adventure Park, which is next to Disneyland. I like to think they did that just for me.

So this is Mason waiting in line to ride Thunder Mountain Rail Road at Disneyland for the first time. He has been waiting patiently to reach 40 inches and today was the day!!! He had the honors of riding it with Cousin SuSu.

...can't tell you how much he loved it!!!
We are saving Splash Mountain for our trip in August, so he can ride it with daddy!

We have some very very exciting news....can you guess why I am standing in front of our door? We are having another baby!!!! This is a total surprise to us and we could not be happier!!!
We feel so blessed!!!

Mason had a little end of the year celebration at his preschool.
It was so cute...the teachers put a slide show together. In the fall he will be going to a new preschool where he will be going full time as I finish up the last of my nursing prerequisites.
He is really excited about his "new big school" as he calls it.

Spring Break...
We spent one of the days at Silver Dollar City with our friends the Englands.

We have bikes!
We've had fun exploring the trails all around our apartment. Mason's taste always amazes me, he picked my bike out and I love it!

...do you remember those fun Valentines boxes? Mason got to make his first one at his little preschool, he had so much fun looking at each Valentine and eating the candy, oh course!

Mason's friend Eli had his birthday party at Build A Bear.
What a fun place! Every child got to pick out a bear and an outfit.
I wanted to see what Mason would create.
He wanted two I love you hearts, so his bear would have lots of love!

...the final creation, a bear that was ready for the fall and a Razorback game!
He named his bear, Bear Bear Build-a-Bear Care Bear.
